Light: Prefers bright, indirect light, but can tolerate low light. Avoid direct sun. Water: Water when the top 2–5 cm (1–2 inches) of soil is dry. Do not overwater. Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix, such as peat-based soil with perlite or sand. Humidity: Grows well in average humidity, but enjoys a bit more. Mist occasionally. Temperature: Best in 18–27°C (65–80°F). Keep away from cold drafts. Fertilizer: Feed every 4–6 weeks in spring and summer with a balanced houseplant fertilizer. Toxicity: Toxic to pets (especially cats and dogs) if ingested.
